That includes Safari, Music, Photos, Books, Messages, Mail, Calendar, and FaceTime. But if you just want to scan your Mac for infected files and make sure new downloads aren't carrying a virus payload, AVG's free product is a fine choice. What to look for in antivirus software. Description

BookBuilder enables you to publish reference books for your own use in PocketBible.

You'll format your book with the specific HTML tags described in the documentation. When this is complete, simply run the BookBuilder program to compress and convert your file into a book that can be read by PocketBible. These are the same techniques and tools used in-house by Laridian to create Bibles and books!

This is the Standard Edition of BookBuilder. See also BookBuilder Professional for Mac OS X for more features!

You can download BookBuilder for free to examine the documentation and sample files. You will need to purchase BookBuilder Standard or BookBuilder Pro to enable the full features of the program.

Features

  • In-depth User's Guide - Detailed, easy-to-understand instructions for preparing your book for processing by the BookBuilder program. You'll need to start with your book in text format and follow the instructions in the User's Guide to apply a subset of HTML tags to format the text. (It is recommended that you already know or are willing to learn HTML from resources outside the documentation.)
  • BookBuilder - When you're done tagging, this program will compress and convert your file into a book which can be read by PocketBible (i.e. a Laridian book or .lbk file).
  • Samples - Includes a sample Bible, dictionary, commentary, and devotional to guide you in your own tagging.

There is virtually no limit to the material that you can add to PocketBible.* Here are just a few suggestions:

  • NEW! Your PocketBible notes, highlights, and bookmarks! If you are using the personalization features of PocketBible to record notes, highlight verses, and create categorized bookmarks, simply synchronize them with our server, log into your account at our site, and use the 'My Data' link to create HTML files containing your personal data, ready to be converted to a Laridian book by BookBuilder!
  • Sermon or Bible study notes or other of your own personal writings.
  • Classic reference materials in the public domain downloaded from the internet.

*Copyright law applies to anything you publish using the BookBuilder. It is your responsibility to determine the copyright status of the books you publish with BookBuilder, and what rights you have with respect to reproducing, viewing, and distributing those books. More information regarding copyright is included in the BookBuilder User's Guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What exactly am I purchasing? You are purchasing instructions on how to tag books for use with PocketBible along with a program (BookBuilder) that will convert your tagged file into a format that PocketBible will recognize.
  • Is this difficult? Tagging the document will take time and some HTML skills. We recommend that you know a little HTML (or be willing to learn it on your own) to do this. Running BookBuilder is very easy. You might want to review the complete documentation to get an idea what is involved before getting started. You can download the program for free to review the documentation and sample files. You will need to purchase and register the BookBuilder program, however, to enable its features.
  • Can I sell materials that I create using the BookBuilder? This version of the BookBuilder is recommended for publishing books that you intend for your own personal use or very limited distribution (i.e. Bible study group). If you plan to sell or otherwise widely distribute your books, you need to be using the Professional Edition of BookBuilder and submitting your tagged books to us when you're done so we can assign a unique publisher and book ID.
  • Can I publish a popular reference book even though it has a current copyright on it? We do not intend this tool to be used to violate the copyright of any Bible or reference book. Copyright is a difficult issue and we include a discussion of it in the User's Guide. We strongly encourage you to honor the copyrights of authors who labor to bring you Bibles and reference materials.

Symptoms

When you try to start any Office for Mac 2011 application, you are prompted to enter the product key and activate the program or to purchase the product online. You receive this prompt even though the product is licensed.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Office for Mac 2011 licensing file is missing or because the Installation ID for the license does not match the installation ID of the computer on which Office for Mac 2011 is installed. These are example scenarios when this may occur:

  • You have connected the external 4 drive unit in a RAID 5 configuration on eSATA. This is an unsupported configuration by Office for Mac. The workaround is to use Firewire 800 instead of eSATA.

  • You copy all Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 folders and files, including the licensing file, to a second computer, and then you try to start an Office application on the second computer. In this case, you are prompted for license information because the information for the program and for the second computer does not match.

  • You copy all Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 folders and files except the licensing file to a second computer, and you try to start an Office application on the second computer. In this case, you are prompted for license information because the information for the program is missing.

  • Your licensing files are corrupted.

  • Your Office for Mac installation is corrupted.

  • The name of your computer's hard disk drive contains special characters. For example, the name contains slashes.

  • Your user profile is not working correctly.

To resolve this issue, use one or more of the following methods.

Method 1: Remove the licensing files

Note If the licensing files for Office for Mac 2011 do not exist on your computer, go to the next method.
Remove com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper.plist. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the Go menu, click Computer.

  2. Double-click your hard disk icon. Bankroll mac os. The default name will be Macintosh HD.

  3. Open Library, and then open LaunchDaemons. Climaniacs mac os.

  4. Drag com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper.plist to the Trash.

Remove com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper. To do this, follow these steps: Safari: evolution mac os.

  1. On the Go menu, click Computer.

  2. Double-click your hard disk icon. The default name will be Macintosh HD.

  3. Open Library, and then open PrivilegedHelperTools.

  4. Drag com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper to the Trash.

Remove com.microsoft.office.licensing.plist. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the Go menu, click Computer.

  2. Double-click your hard disk icon. The default name will be Macintosh HD.

  3. Open Library, and then open Preferences.

  4. Drag com.microsoft.office.licensing.plist to the Trash. https://torrentsign.mystrikingly.com/blog/tommy-the-ninja-and-the-many-keys-mac-os.

If the problem still occurs, go to the next method.

Method 2: Check the name of your hard disk drive

Make sure that the name of your computer's hard disk drive follows correct naming conventions. The name should not contain any special characters, such as a slash (/) or a question mark (?). The name should contain both alpha and numeric characters. However, the name cannot start with numeric characters.
To locate the name of the hard disk drive, follow these steps:

  1. Quit all applications.

  2. On the Go menu, click Computer.

  3. Locate the hard disk drive name in the list.

If the hard disk drive name follows correct naming conventions, no further action is required. Examples of legitimate hard disk drive names are Macintosh HD or Mac HD 1.
If the hard disk drive name does not follow correct naming conventions, change it so it does. An example of an incorrect hard disk drive name would be 1 Mac HD.
If the problem still occurs, go to the next method.

Method 3: Create a new user account

Sometimes, specific user information becomes corrupted. This problem can prevent a program from installing, from starting, or from running correctly. To determine whether the user information is corrupted, log on as a new user or create a new user account that has administrative credentials, and then test the program again. For more information about how to create a new user account, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
2439218 Testing your user account to troubleshoot Office for Mac applications
Note When you create the new user account, make sure that you create it as an administrator.
If the problem still occurs, go to the next method.
